Ein chinesisches Schiff hat bei der Suche nach Flug MH370 ein "pulsierendes Signal" im Indischen Ozean registriert. Ob das Signal von der verschollenen Boeing stammt, ist allerdings noch unklar. Die Blackbox kann noch bis Montag Signale senden. -

The remaining 9 aircraft and now 8 ships continued to scan the northern search area west of Perth, aircraft reported new sightings. The objects retrieved from the ocean yesterday have been described as "fishing equipment and other floatsam" unrelated to MH-370.

The Aviation Herald learned on Mar 27th 2014, that the touch down produced a vertical acceleration of +2.8G rendering the touch down the second hardest landing of an A346 ever following the +3.09G landing of Iberia in Quito, see Report: Iberia A346 at Quito on Nov 9th 2007, overran runway. Examination of the aircraft is underway, the right main landing gear is going to be replaced, as of current the entire aircraft structure including wings and wing tanks are being checked for cracks. The aircraft is currently estimated to be out of service for at least several weeks.

ZitatIn the press conference on Mar 24th 2014 Malaysia's Prime Minister said, that the experts of the AAIB briefed the prime minister stating that the satellite experts have done further computations on the satellite data using methods never used before. Based on the new computations the AAIB have concluded MH-370 flew the southern corridor with its final position west of Perth, Australia at a remote area of the Indian Ocean with no landing sites. "It is with deep sadness and regret, I must inform you, that according to this new data flight MH-370 ended in the southern Indian Ocean", the Prime Minister stated.
