Nach einem Neustart sind die Änderungen gültig. Du kannst überprüfen, ob die Aktion erfolgreich war, indem Du einfach versuchst, den Defender aufzurufen. In dem Fall sollte Windows eine Meldung anzeigen, die darauf hinweist, dass diese App über eine Gruppenrichtlinie deaktiviert wurde.

Ohne viel Tamtam zum Testen: Einfach "Defender" in Windows suchen -> Erweitert -> Deaktivieren (oder so ähnlich). Die Einstellung resettet sich aber nach einem Neustart....falls die Probleme wirklich durch den Defender ausgelöst wurden kannst du ihn mit dem Work Around von Frank dauerhaft ausstellen.
