ich bekomme jedes mal aufs neue den Diff Manager angezeigt obwohl ich alle Einträge dort anklicke und dann auf "Auswahl löschen" gehe. Trotzdem erscheint dieser beim nächster Start aufs neue. Nutze noch die alte Version für den P3Dv4.5.

"Auswahl löschen" ist doch der richtige Weg, wenn ich neue Einträge die vlt. ein Installer oder Add-On geschrieben hat, nicht übernehmen möchte?

Anscheinend hat man wirklich beim ersten Landeversuch das Fahrwerk nicht, bzw. nur teilweise ausgefahren und beide Motoren hatten Kontakt mit der Landebahn. Die Crew hat vorher keine Unregelmäßigkeiten durchgegeben und dementsprechend war auch die Runway nicht präpariert oder ähnliches.

Das hört sich schon sehr merkwürdig an ...

irgendwie komme ich so langsam etwas durcheinander. Braucht man den so Programme wie ASCA, Envtex, usw überhaupt noch, wenn man mit True Sky fliegt? Ich dachte, True Sky sorgt für verbesserte Wolken, Himmel usw? Wozu dann noch solche Tools? Was machen diese dann?

Scrape marks unter beiden Motoren (Gear Up Landung?) so wie die ausgefahrene Ram Air Turbine (Dual Engine Failure -> All AC Power Sources lost?) deuten darauf hin, dass hier im Vorfeld des Absturzes einiges schief gegangen sein muss

Sagt mal, wie funktioniert das ganze eigentlich, wenn ich v4 und v5 parallel installieren möchte?

Die Sims an sich sollten kein Problem sein. Aber wie verhält es sich mit den Add-Ons?

Z.b. EDDF hat eine Version für v5 und eine für v4. Muss ich dann die Scenery quasi zwei mal installieren? Sprich, erst die eine dann die andere?

Captains,

Last night, we have pushed an update to the PMDG 747 Queen of the Skies II product lines for Prepar3D v4 and v5.

This update is intended to do a bit of cleanup for items that bubbled up after release of our major update last weekend. We also rolled out the long promised connectivity for REX weather radar, and updated the existing Active Sky connectivity to recognize the new ActiveSky P3D versioning that was introduced by HiFi last week. This week also got some fixes to the tiller steering module, some fixes to ground physics and the ability to select "default" steering if you choose.

Installation will depend upon where you are in the update cycle:

You have the version we released last weekend via full-installer:
If you already have last week’s major update installed, you can get this update by simply going into the PMDG Operations Center (check your start menu) and then click on the Aircraft and Liveries, and then select the Aircraft Updates tab.

You have an earlier version installed still:
First you will need to log into your account at PMDG.com and download the new 747 installers from there. Once you have done this, follow the instructions above for the micro-update.

A note on Wx Radar:
We now have the ability to select between ActiveSky P3D and REX available to you in the 747. There is a flip/flop setting you will want to toggle to tell the airplane which to use. You can find this by going into the PMDG FMS options menu, select SIMULATION and then hit PAGE UP one time. (fastest way to reach it...)

A note on Steering/Ground Physics:
We have added some improved menu options and improved their selectability so that you have a better understanding of what each setting is doing for you.

This will walk you through the various settings and what they do. We *strongly* encourage you to be sure and set the USE P3D TILLER AXIS setting correctly to match your sim setting. The rest of the settings are purely your choice and we recommend you give them a try and see which works best for you. Also it is important to understand that when you are using a tiller, your ruder pedals will realistically provide you with 7 degrees of steering through the nosewheel, which is plenty to get you to the high speed exit and to maintain the centerline while taxiing straight ahead.

wer von euch nutzt denn ein Wireless Headset und kann mir da eine Empfehlung in Hinblick auf Verbindungsstabilität und Audioqualität geben?

Ich brauche das Headset für den P3D (Vatsim + FS2Crew) und zum Chatten (Discord, Skype, Teams usw). Also weder für Hardcore Gaming noch um damit Musik zu hören.

ich habe gelesen, dass mit der neusten Version der Queen im zusammenspiel mit P3Dv5 und Active Sky Open Beta das Wetter-Radar nicht mehr funktioniert.

Hat jemand Erfahrung, wie sich das ganze im P3Dv4 mit AS Build 7410 verhält? Geht dort das Wetter Radar mit der neusten 747 Version noch?

Braucht man derartige Programme für den v5 überhaupt noch? Wenn ich das richtig verstehe, dann sorgt "Enhanced Atmospherics" für den selben Effekt oder?

Kann man zwischen Envtex und EA ohne großen Aufwand wechseln?
