Plane makes emergency landing in U.S. to threat
A U.S. Airways passenger plane from Ireland on Wednesday made an emergency landing at the international airport in the U.S. city of Philadelphia because of an unknown threat.

According to local media there was a bomb threat, but a spokeswoman for the airline could not confirm.
The device was left of the Irish Shannon. The destination was probably the U.S. city of Pittsburg. According to a spokeswoman for the police there was a'' threat'' but was not specified. The airline spoke of a possible security problem''''.
After landing, the plane was directed to a remote part of the airport. There were 171 passengers and checked baggage.
