Heute geht es weiter nach Norden zur Stadt Khartoum im Sudan. Ich kann wieder den ganzen Flug einfach dem weißen Nil folgen und er bringt mich nach ca 3,5h direkt dort hin. Das ist mit Sicherheit der Grund für die Routenplanung von Armando, der ja kein GPS zur Hilfe hatte. Da das Gelände nicht über 2400ft hoch ist, habe ich mich für 3500ft cruise alt entschieden.
Todays flight will take me further north to Khartoum/Sudan. Again I can follow the white Nile that will take me directly there. I guess that is why Armando took this route as he had no GPS to help. The terrain is about 2400ft and I will fly at 3500ft cruise altitude.
Wetterbericht sieht gut aus. Weather looks good, I expect a quiet flight.

Nächstes Leg ist Nr.6 und führt von Juba nach Malakal. Ich fliege Kurs 358, bleibe auf 3000-3500ft, da es relativ eben ist, und folge wieder dem weissen Nil bis Bor. Der Nil macht dann einen links-rechts-Bogen und wir sehen ihn in Malakal wieder. Flugzeit sollte 2,5h sein.
The next leg is no6 and brings us to Malakal, north of Juba. We will follow the white Nile until the City of Bor and continue north at about 3000-3500ft. The Nile found its way to the left and will join us again at Malakal. Flight time should be araound 2.5h .

Malakal hat eine Bahn in 04-22 und bei diesem Wind entscheide ich mich für die 04. Malakal airfiled has one runway 040°-220° and in these wind condition I take runway 04. You can see the field on the right side.

Auf zum 5.Leg. Dieser Flug führt von Beni(Kongo) nach Juba(Südsudan) . Ich werde mich am Lake Albert orientieren und folge danach dem weissen Nil nordwärts direkt nach Juba. Flughöhe 4500-6500ft und Flugzeit ca 3h.
