    A Flybe de Havilland Dash 8-400, registration G-FLBC performing flight BE-130 from Glasgow,SC to Belfast City,NI (UK) with 76 passengers and 4 crew, was descending through about FL140 towards Belfast's City Airport when the crew received a fire indication for the left hand engine and passengers observed streaks of flame from the left hand engine (PW150). The crew shut the engine down, activated the fire suppression which extinguished the fire, and diverted to Belfast's International Airport Aldergrove for a safe landing.The airline reported a small engine fire that was extinguished before landing. Passengers reported there was shudder, a loud bang and streaks of flames from the exhaust of the left hand engine.
