LONDON - easyJet hat im August mehr Passagiere befördert als ein Jahr zuvor. Die Zahl der Fluggäste wuchs um 8,4 Prozent auf 5,2 Millionen, wie das Unternehmen am Montag in London mitteilte.
Bei der Auslastung erreichte easyJet eine Verbesserung um 0,5 Prozentpunkte auf 92,3 Prozent. Der Billigflieger hat sich zuletzt am Markt gut geschlagen und plant für das Geschäftsjahr bis Ende September einen Vorsteuergewinn von bis zu 150 Millionen britischen Pfund (rund 179 Mio Euro).
