Damian Clark (HiFi Zendesk Support) Dec 5, 2022, 20:09 UTC Update Dec 5, 2022: We are investigating some rare cases of some German users unable to login or obtain connectivity to our login/weather servers at updraft.hifitechinc.com, downdraft.hifitechinc.com and cirrus.hifitechinc.com We have confirmed there are no routing or connectivity issues within Amazon AWS (our cloud provider) and all related services. The issues appear to be blocking or routing issues somewhere between these German users and their general internet backbone connection. This does not affect all German users, only some (less than 1% of our German user base) from current indications. Amazon AWS specialists have requested the following information in order to further confirm/troubleshoot the issue: 1) Please provide your public IPv4 address (use www.whatismyipaddress.com to show your public IP address) 2) Please install tcp traceroute and trace to updraft.hifitechinc.com and provide results. See https://www.namecheap.com/supp…ow-to-use-tcp-traceroute/ The command to use after installing tcp traceroute is: traceroute -T -p 443 *52.23.47.15 We also recommend that you attempt a normal tracert to updraft.hifitechinc.com (use CMD prompt command: tracert -h 100 updraft.hifitechinc.com) and provide this, along with the requested information above, to your ISP with the same complaint of connectivity problems so they can troubleshoot on their end. This is likely an issue on the German ISP side from all indications, so our efforts are in attempt to assist your ISP identify the issue. Thank you. |
