US Airways flight 1702 with service from Philadelphia to Fort Lauderdale and operated by an Airbus A320 with a Charlotte based crew, has gone off runway 27L in Philadelphia with 149 souls onboard. Reports from the airport said the aircraft suffered a tire blow out on take-off roll, causing an aborted take off, and subsequently, while trying to stop the aircraft the nose gear collapsed.
