A Lufthansa Airbus A380-800, registration D-AIMB performing flight LH-711 from Tokyo Narita (Japan) to Frankfurt/Main (Germany), was enroute at FL380 just leaving Russia into Estonia when the crew needed to shut down engine #2 (inboard left hand, Trent 970). The airplane descended to FL340 and continued to Frankfurt where the airplane landed safely on runway 25L about 2:10 hours later with emergency services standing by and following the airplane to the apron.
