An Air France Airbus A340-300, registration F-GLZC performing flight AF-84 from Paris Charles de Gaulle (France) to San Francisco,CA (USA), was enroute at FL340 between Greenland and Canada near the Hudson Strait when the crew reported the loss of battery power to lavatories and water supplies. The airplane descended to FL260 and set course for Boston,MA (USA), later climbed to FL300 and dumped fuel. The airplane landed safely in Boston about 3.5 hours after reporting the battery problem.
