US Airway weicht aus wegen Bombendrohung
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — A plane en-route from Ireland made an emergency landing at Philadelphia International Airport Wednesday afternoon after receiving a threat.
According to reports, US Airways flight 777 landed in Philadelphia at about 2 p.m. after a threat was reportedly phoned in to the airport. The exact nature of the threat was not immediately released.
Once the plane landed, all passengers, as well as their baggage, were removed from the plane and re-screened. The plane was isolated as well.
At about 3 p.m., the search of the plane ended and authorities said nothing suspicious was found aboard the plane. The plane contained 171 passengers and eight crew members.
After the all-clear was given, the plane was brought back to the airport area, as well as the passenger’s luggage.
