Ein klassiches sprachliches Missverständnis

  • A Royal Air Maroc Boeing 737-800, registration CN-ROC performing flight AT-672 from Marrakesh (Morocco) to London Gatwick,EN (UK), was on final approach to Gatwick's runway 26L still waiting for late landing clearance, while preceding landing traffic, a Germania Boeing 737-700 registration D-AGEQ performing flight ST-9972 from Erfurt (Germany) to London Gatwick was instructed to expedite vacating the runway. When CN-ROC descended through about 200 feet AGL tower began reporting winds in preparation for a landing clearance but stopped, instructed "disregard" and "go-around" as the aircraft was descending through about 150 feet AGL. The crew of CN-ROC acknowledged and correctly read back the instruction to go around, however, continued the landing on runway 26L, rolled out safely and vacated the runway.

The return flight AT-673 was cancelled.

The occurrence aircraft positioned back to Morocco as flight AT-8173 departing Gatwick after about 90 minutes on the ground.

Ich würde sagen das sie es sprachlich nicht verstanden haben was sie machen sollen,,obwohl ein "go around" nicht falsch zu verstehen ist!

The return flight AT-673 was cancelled.

Wieso das denn? Was kann denn der returm flight dafür? Oder wurde die Crew erst mal gegroundet? Nur - wer hat dann 90 Min. später das leere Flugzeug zurückgeflogen?

More informations: It was a very windy day at LGW with gusts (220/18 gusting 32 during the event). The landing Germania has reported a severe turbulence in the final. At the same time that the air traffic controller collated the information, he instructed the flight RAM67 to go-around and climb to 2000 ft. The crew understood that IF he had to go-around he will climb to 2000ft and that What he read back. The crew continued the landing seeing the previous plane evacuating the runway. At the gate, the controller contacted the Captain of the flight and asked him why he did not go-around. The Captain´s response was that he understood and what the F/O read back was conditional: "if we go-around ..." The original flight was scheduled as AT67 (RAK-LGW) followed AT 8173 (LGW-RAK) with 1h turn around and ferry flight. They even left with 10min before the scheduled time! That's the hole story...

...hört sich bisschen so an, als ob die RAM Piloten sich bei den Turbulenzen ein bisschen mehr aufs Politieren konzentriert haben. Die Easy haben Sie ja offenbar auch vacaten sehen.
