    Doha International Airport – OTBD

    Da ich mal wieder dran bin, hab ich mir einen Platz gesucht, an dem wir noch nie waren, wenn ich richtig gelesen habe.
    Katar oder Qatar ist ein kleines, aber reiches Emirat am Persischen Golf. Jeder von uns hat wohl im vergangenen Jahr mit Erstaunen feststellen können, dass dort Fußball gespielt wird und zwar so volkssportmäßig, dass es zur Vergabe einer WM reicht. Warum also nicht mal ein KuMi dahin?
    Doha ist die Hauptstadt des Emirates und die größte von insgesamt 7 Gemeinden.
    Der Flughafen liegt 4 km vom Stadtzentrum entfernt, ist langstreckentauglich und Hub von Qatar-Airways. Zur Zeit im Bau ist eine Erweiterung des Airports, um ihn A380 tauglich zu machen. Die schon hohen Passagierkapazitäten (15 Mio) sollen damit nochmals verdoppelt werden.
    Qatar fliegt von Deutschland EDDF, EDDM, EDDS, EDDB und Hansens von EDDF.

    Tower: "KLM 242 expect start up in two hours."
    Pilot: "Please confirm: two hours delay?"
    Tower: "Affirmative."
    Pilot: "In that case, cancel the good morning!"

    Schön Longhaul nächste Woche. QTR84 aus JFK ist dann meiner. :D

    Dafür sehr framefreundlich...hab grad noch mal gestöbert, die aktuellste, die ich hab von 2011 ist 5,x MB gross...ist nicht der Überflieger aber bei der Landung ist es eh dunkel, deswegen nicht so schlimm. Der Jupp hat noch was mit 13 MB, vielleicht schaut er noch mal und macht n paar pix.

    Hab ich noch gar nicht geprüft. Sag blos nicht, dass es keine ju52mtl gibt, dann muss ich alternativ die Connie nehmen...

    Wo ist das Problem mit den herrlichen Fuel-to-Noise-Convertern ?
    Ach so, noch was, spielt ihr eigentlich diesmal bei der EM mit? :duw:
