    NANTUCKET MEMORIAL AIRPORT - KACK


    auf der kleinen Insel Nantucket in Massachusetts, ca. 80 NM südöslich von KBOS.

    Bei einer Größe von ca, 124 qkm und ca. 11.300 Einwohnern geht es - ausserhalb der Touristensaison - offenbar recht beschaulich zu.

    Ebenso beschaulich ist der Airport, der aber immerhin drei Runways (6300ft, 4500ft bzw. 2700 ft) auffweist. Allerding wird betont, das er nach KBOS die meisten Flugbewegungen in Massachusetts aufweist. Zumindest nächsten Mittwoch wird sich das Verhältnis hoffentlich umkehren.
