Hat schon jemand nach dem Update im FMC manuell einen Flightplan eingegeben.
Bei mir funktioniert das nicht mehr.
Vor dem Update hate ich keine Probleme.
Habe die NGXu neu ohne das Update installiert. >Dann funktionier die Manuelle Eingabe im FMC
Wenn ich die rte Datei bei co Route importiere gibt es keinen Fehler.
Wie gesagt nur bei der manuellen Eingabe.

After we pushed build 2.91.0041 of the PMDG 737NGXu Base Package to you on Christmas Eve, a few users popped into support to complain of an unusual CTD event <gasp> and a few others to say that RainMaker had apparently stopped working for them.
We were able to reproduce the CTD event pretty quickly (it involved some of the changes we are making in preparation for the update to LNAV and the new F/D logic, but of course was on the VNAV side of the house... ) as a couple of the reporters were able to tell us precisely what they had done to trigger it. (Thanks! Replication steps are always welcome when we go hunting for something obscure.)
The CTD even has been resolved and is cured with the update we pushed just a few moments ago.
Additionally, a few users (not widespread- but enough to cause us to go looking) reported that Rainmaker magically stopped working in both the NGXu and the 747 right after the NGXu was updated to 2.91.0041. Since both products share the same dll, we went digging and we were able to resolve the issue down to an obscure dependency upon a visual studio reference set that some users appear not to have installed, but of which most customers DO have installed.
Both of these issues have been resolved in an update that we pushed at approximately 0400/28DEC19 via the Operations Center 2.0.
We strongly encourage you to update your NGXu installation prior to your weekend departures!
Sorry for the hiccups- but these were pretty significant and we wanted to get them resolved for you before the weekend.

NOTAM: In the OC2.0 updater, it appears that it is doing some bogus math on how many files and how big this update is when comparing the numbers for 2.91.0041 users. Ignore that data for now- we'll look into fixing it for an OC2 update next week. It is just advisory data and has no impact on the success of the update itself.

Whoa. Bei PMDG gibt es scheinbar Feiertagszuschläge 
Nach dem Update alles wieder wie immer.
Noch einen Fehler der nicht gefixed wurde: Im Cruise Level kann man sporadisch Plötzlich im FO FMC nur noch eine Einstellige Zahl eingeben um zb. das Flightlevel zu ändern, oder den Descent Forecast einzugeben. Beim anderen FMC funktioniert alles normal.

So this is unusual- but does prove the value of our ability to push micro-updates quickly.
We started seeing some unusual traffic in the NGXu forum and at PMDG Tech Support indicating that after updating to Build 2.91.0046, some users were experiencing an issue in which NGXu would fail to run properly when selected. It wasn't all users- just a small number- but it was clear something was amiss.
Chris Makris put the word out to the dev team, so we collected this morning to see if we couldn't sort it out.
With the help of a few customers who were able to give us log files, addon installation lists and a bunch of other data, we were able to nail this down to a REALLY peculiar situation being triggered by a third party add-on developer who apparently is sending out an EVENT_SIM_STOP message via simconnect during scenery initialization. This was being picked up by the methods we use to help NGXu determine which airplane body-type has been selected by the user, as well as to connect to PMDG Global Flight Operations, and since the event message is telling the sim "we are shutting down" the NGXu would obey the command and shut down.
This message has been out there getting fired off for some time, but changes we made this week in preparation to begin testing the 600/700, along with Global Flight Operations were not protected from a "sim shutdown" message that reasonably should never be anticipated during sim initialization unless the user was actually shutting the sim down.
So- the NGXu was doing what it was told. The question becomes "why would a scenery developer send an EVENT_SIM_SHUTDOWN message during initialization?
That part of the investigation continues... (We aren't certain it is scenery itself, or an applet that runs animations in the scenery, or a 3rd party process the scenery developer is using... but we are searching...)
In the mean time- we pushed an update to protect NGXu from this unwanted interloper. So if it has been a problem- simply grab latest via OC2 and you should be fine.
Sorry for the hiccup- but I do want to thank the team for jumping on this and researching it to a conclusion on the saturday of a holiday weekend.

PMDG Simulations

Ist ja schön dass sie so schnelle Updates machen, aber wenn ich das so lese wird mir bang. PMDG ist genauso wie ORBX - sie programmieren irgendwelche Mechanismen und greifen in die Simulatorarchitektur auf eine Weise ein, auf die am Ende NUR IHRE und keine anderen Addons mehr laufen, deren Entwickler sich nicht GENAUESTENS mit ihnen abstimmen. Und das wird nie passieren.
Also wird es immer ein paar arme Loser geben, die Geld für diese Produkte ausgeben und sie - erst mal - nicht wie vorgesehen nutzen können und gar nicht wissen warum. Sei es, weil sie eine nicht vorher getestete Kombination von Addons oder Tools haben, eine bestimmte Hardwarekonfiguration oder weil einfach der Mond ungünstig im Sternbild des Wassermanns steht.
Und wenn jetzt schon Szenerie-Addons Flugzeug-Addons beeinflussen, wo endet das dann?

Wenn ich das richtig lese, ist es aber ein 3d-party-Addonhersteller, der das Sim-Stop-Signal gibt und nicht PMDG?!

Schon, aber die NGXu nutzt genau dieses Signal um nicht mehr zu funktionieren. Am Ende werfen sich doch wieder nur alle gegenseitig vor, sich nicht an den Standard gehalten zu haben, und der User schaut in die Röhre...

Hey, das hier ist immer noch ein Computerspiel (Jehova, Jehova). Das scheinen einige Addon-Hersteller vergessen zu haben.
Glaub das bei Eik sollte ein MCAS-Witz oder so werden...
Aber das versteh ich jetzt nicht: Wenn der Simulator sagt "hey Leute, ich fahr hier mein shutdown prompt", dann ist es doch nur logisch, wenn die NGX und jedes andere Add-on, an der Stelle sagen "aaaaalles klar verstanden, mach ich direkt mit"?
Welches Addon sagt denn: Sooooo, getz ist Zeit ins Bettchen zu gehen und ich mach getz ma die Kiste aus?
Würde mich auch interessieren. Und wieso geht der Sim denn dann nicht auch schlafen wenn diese Meldung "abgefeuert" wird? 
Tja, da bin ich auch nicht schlau draus geworden: nur das geheimnisvolle AddOn und die NGXu sind dann scheinbar schlafen gegangen

Gibt es eine Geheime Konfiguration von der man noch nix weiß, um die Des. Winds zu requesten? Jedes mal wenn man das tut kommt;

Ey...das lief bei mir einfach out of the box, ohne irgendwas an PFPX, SimBrief, oder ActiveSky-Settings zu ändern.
Würde mal gucken dass das alles auf standard ist...
