    Im November 1917 wurde das Aldergrove Aerodrome zum Ausbildungsflugplatz des Royal Flying Corps während des Ersten Weltkrieges. Im Mai 1925 wurde der Flughafen Standort der Special Reserve-Einheit 502. Am 31. Mai 1931 landete hier der erste Zivilflug nach Nordirland von Glasgow. Am 28. Oktober 1963 wurde der Flughafen nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg wieder eröffnet und die Terminals durch die englische Königinmutter eingeweiht.

    Der Belfast International Airport liegt etwa 25 km westlich der Innenstadt von Belfast. Die Linie 300 von Ulsterbus verkehrt je nach Tageszeit alle 20–60 Minuten ab der Station Europe Central Station in etwa 40 Minuten zum Flughafen.


    Es gibt die ein oder andere Verbindung von Jet2 oder EasyJet. Ansonsten ist die CJ4 natürlich auch immer eine Option hierher.
